Alessio Boni in “Lo stesso mare”
Simone Campa - vocals and percussion instruments
Celeste Gugliandolo - vocals
Alessandra Osella – accordion
On the stage is represented the ambiguous and dangerous charm of the sea – a symbol of freedom and unlimited horizons, but also an unpredictable divinity capable of upsetting man’s destiny.
The recital is a sort of time travel, a circumnavigation of “Mare nostrum”, from a city to another, from a country to another, grasping the lights, the colours, the sounds and the smells.
An involving logbook, a story made of stories, a plot of myths and legends, a setting of dangerous alleys and shining waters recalling love affairs and journeys of hope.
The charming voice of Alessio Boni will take you through this ideal journey – made of poetry and of the words of the greatest authors from the XX century: Giuseppe Ungaretti, Eugenio Montale, Umberto Saba, Federico García Lorca, Ferdinando Pessoa, Nazim Hikmet, Konstantinos Kavafis, Adonis and the poets of Ancient Greece.
An itinerary through the routes and the winds of our ancient Mare Nostrum, between past and future.
